"Niharkana (নিহারকন্যা) rehabilitation center"  is in Kolkata near Dum Dum run by Kanta Chakraborty, established with the dream of helping street children to grow up in a less hostile environment. Currently they have about 20 kids who are regularly attending schools and left begging at station. They all are bright student, not only doing well in education, excelling in sports and extra curricular activities...

This year (2017) natural disasters have taken a big toll both in the U.S. and in India. On one hand, hurricanes like Harvey have inflicted nearly $200 billion in damage. On the other hand, incessant rainfall has caused severe floods in West Bengal and other parts of India.
