This year Saikat EC would like to continue its spirit in giving back to the San Diego community and its environment with a new charitable project "Beach clean up" at Torrey Pines State Beach on August 28,2022 from 8 am to 10 am. The beach clean up event will be in association with "I Love a Clean San Diego", an environmental organization based in San Diego.
It is a great opportunity for both adults and children of our community to get involved with charitable activities aiming to clean the environment and save our favorite ocean before it’s too late. We request to encourage the young generation to take part in the noble cause. Children who are enthusiastic, but still not completely dependent to accomplish the task on their own, should be accompanied by parents throughout the time.
All the necessary items will be provided by Saikat. Saikat will be happy to certify the volunteering hours.

The Ocean takes care of us, Let's return the favor
Litter and other harmful materials travel through our watersheds and end up in our ocean. This is extremely dangerous for the earth's ecosystem. Plastic marine debris causes the death of more than a million seabirds and over 100,000 marine mammals every year. Beach cleanups can reduce litter, protect our ocean and raise awareness about litter and plastic pollution.
