Dear Saikat Family,
For the past couple of months we've been discussing, deliberating and negotiating with a few school districts and other organizations to secure a proper location where we can celebrate in-person outdoor Puja with Pratima, while still adhering to COVID-19 restrictions and maintaining safety protocol.
Finally we are delighted to announce that, this year we are going to celebrate in-person Durga Puja and Laxmi Puja 2021 on October 16-17th at Wangenheim Middle School, Mira Mesa.
While the Coronavirus is still lurking around the corner, we want to rejuvenate our community spirit and rekindle the emotions of Puja. So, please take safety precautions, come forward and participate in this celebration!
Durga Puja event is free for Saikat Annual Members. Non-members please follow below PayPal links for event donation. Please avail the early bird rates (for non-members) through September 24, 2021.

Saikat relies on the generosity of our members and patrons to fund the various charitable and cultural activities throughout the year. Funds raised at the beginning of the year are not sufficient to cover all our endeavors. On this festive occasion, we appeal to you for your continued support. The money raised during Durga Puja is not only used to cover event expenses but also supports our various philanthropic activities later on.
Many of our patrons have expressed interest to donate towards "পুজোর প্রণামী" as well as to sponsor various components of the Puja during this auspicious occasion. We have facilitated a way to do so by clicking the Donation Tab above. Alternatively, you may also write a check in favor of "Saikat" and mail to 13535 Samantha Ave, San Diego CA 92129. Some ‘suggested’ donation rates are also published. However, anything that you wish to donate towards 'Sharadiya Durgotsav' is greatly appreciated and will be put to fullest use.
